What the extension stores
- Your Ahrefs API key. When you paste your own key, it is saved in your browser with Chrome's storage. It stays on your device and is sent only to Ahrefs, to fetch Domain Rating. It is never sent to Qrotto.
- A local cache of Domain Rating and domain age results, kept on your device for up to 7 days so the extension is faster. It never leaves your browser.
What the extension sends, and to whom
When you search on Google, the extension may send these requests directly from your browser:
- the domains shown in your results to Ahrefs (
api.ahrefs.com) to get Domain Rating, using your own key; - the same domains to RDAP (
rdap.org) to look up when each domain was registered; - your search query to Google Autocomplete (
suggestqueries.google.com) to fetch related keyword ideas.
These requests exist only to show you the features above. Each service handles the request under its own privacy policy. The extension sends no data to Qrotto, and adds no tracking, advertising or analytics.
What the extension does not do
- It does not collect your name, email, passwords, form data or browsing history.
- It does not sell any data, and it shares nothing beyond the requests listed above.
- It has no account, no login and no server of its own.
