QRotto ("we", "us", "this site") provides free QR code generation tools. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this website and how it is handled.
Data You Enter Into Our Tools
All QR codes on this site are generated entirely within your browser using client side JavaScript. The information you type into any generator, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, WiFi passwords, URLs, and text, is never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never logged. It exists only in your browser's memory while the page is open and is discarded when you close or reload the page.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you visit. This information is used only to monitor site performance and security.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. The third party services described below, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense, do place cookies on your device.
Third Party Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use it: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what device they are on, and how they arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on Google's servers.
We use it in aggregate. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and nothing you type into the QR code generators is ever sent to Google Analytics or anywhere else, because the generators run entirely in your browser.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt out browser add on. Most browsers also let you block or clear cookies for this site specifically.
This site also uses Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used, through aggregated heatmaps and recordings of on-page actions such as clicks, scrolls and mouse movement. Clarity masks the text you type by default, so what you enter into the generators is not captured. Microsoft processes this data on its servers and may use it as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Blocking or clearing cookies for this site also stops Clarity.
Third Party Resources
This site loads open source libraries from two public content delivery networks: the QR code generator and its helpers from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, and the QR code reader used by the scanner, designer, sign maker and stress test from cdn.jsdelivr.net. When your browser requests these files, the provider may log standard request information such as your IP address. The libraries run on your device; what you type or scan is not sent to them.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data submitted through our tools, there is no personal data for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. For data handled by third parties such as Google, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
